I’ll be curious to read about your train travel between Varanasi and Kolkata.
We ate the same cheese sandwiches and potato chips on our train “adventure” 4 years ago. Were you at the Taj Ganges, perhaps? I’ve been to Varanasi two more trips with another planned in November and prefer staying in a hotel on the ghats. Varanai pulls me there. The train doesn’t, however. It’s the plane for me. Your blog attitude is quite positive. Love the towel Ganesha. Safe travels!
